5better than the picture  Aug 03, 2008
This bag is very high quality-higher than what it looks like in the photo. The description doesn't show inside photos but it has one large zippered main pocket that holds a lot, another zipper front pocket under the flap (velcro closure) and a 3rd zipper on the back of the purse. Carries my small planner and everything else I keep in my purse - wallet, brush, compact, phone, pen, gloss, etc. Exactly what I was looking for.

4Ok  Jul 20, 2008
It's practical and sort of cute. The zippers are a little cheap but its not a bad bag for walking around the city. It's a good medium sized bag

3Less than a month and it's starting to break  Jun 28, 2008
It was my mistake that this bag wouldn't contain my daytimer, so I adjusted for how I was keeping things and it worked fine. Then I noticed that the strap on the side that doesn't adjust started to tear which then proceeded to get worse over time. I walk all over the city a lot so I needed something that was small enough to carry my essentials with a strap that I can sling over my body without constantly hanging onto a handle or strap. Other than the problem with the strap I'm happy with the bag - guess it's time to find something slightly bigger that may be better made.

5Messenger Bag  May 22, 2008
I bought this bag after reading the previous reviews. One review scared me because I was afraid if I purchased this bag it would not turn out to be what I expected. But I read the others it convinced me to buy it.

I dont regret buying it. I love it. It is what the other positive remarks said, it is just perfect to put a book to read a small notebook. and it has two zipper bags. One at the outside back part and one in the front of main pocket. They are very useful to separate small items. I recommend it.

5makes a great purse, but not a messenger bag  May 14, 2008
This is definitely a purse, and not a messenger bag. This is coming from somebody who considers most "purses" nowadays to be too big to count as a purse. That said, I love this bag. I wasn't sure about getting it because I didn't see any really good reviews on it, but I finally got it anyway because of the good price. It replaced a vintage gas mask bag that I had been using as a purse until it broke.

As another reviewer said, this really is a basic bag. It has one main compartment, a roomier front compartment, and a slim zippered back pocket. The main compartment has two pockets, one of which fits a cell phone perfectly. The other is a bit bigger and I put my receipts in it. The zippered back pocket is too slim to put anything other than paper in it - it fits a full sheet of paper folded in half "hamburger style" very nicely. I keep my iPod in the front pocket, but it is easily big enough for more. I had a hard time figuring out how big this bag would end up being, so hopefully my references will help you.

My favorite part of this purse though is the fact that it has zippers. Unlike a clasp or drawstring, it is actually secure. The front, main, and back compartments are all zippered shut. I haven't had any problems with the quality of the bag, and I'm not easy on them. The strap is very adjustable, but it does stay in place once you adjust it. It might not if you put a lot of weight in the purse, but it isn't meant for a lot of weight. This bag is not for carrying around your office or school supplies. That said, if you treat it as a purse it will fulfill if not exceed all your expectations.
