 Good to carry to work Mar 19, 2008
This is my second MAXX NEW YORK handbag. I like the shining finish and the size. It is able to hold all my stuff (big wallet, ipod/accessories, cosmetic bag, 2 notebooks, calculator, sunglasses), even letter size folders or 1-2 magzines. Very pratical and pretty.

Overall, if you want a large patent purse, this is a good one. I got this on sale when it went down to $45, plus I had a $25 gift certificate, and for that price, I am happy with it.
Positives:
-like all the Maxx NY products I have experienced, this seems to be well made
-useful interior pockets
-large size is useful for days when you need to bring everything along: water, book, gloves, wallet, make-up, accessories, etc.
Negatives:
-the patent leather is very squeaky, so you will make sounds whenever you move
-for the size of the bag, the drop between the shoulder strap and the top of the bag isn't very big. It's fine if you're just wearing a shirt, but it's cold here and I have trouble getting it comfortably over my shoulder when I'm wearing a sweater and a big jacket.
